Operator – Liquid Exp.
For an Intl Trading Co. based in Switzerland we are looking for an Operator – Liquid Exp.
Tasks
- Responsible for operating vessels owned by the company, time chartered, voyage chartered and chartered out to other parties and operating floating storages
- Responsible for Cargo operations – Purchases & Sales on FOB-FOB / CIF-CIF basis
- Communicating voyage orders to Master, appointing agents and inspectors, sending out ship and cargo nominations and documentary instructions, preparing LOIs, arranging and negotiating bunkers and following the voyage from A to Z
- Arranging safe STS operations, inspections, liaising with terminals/suppliers and receivers to operate voyages at the safest, quickest and most cost-effective manner
- Responsible for scheduling of deliveries targeting fleet optimisation
- Calculating cargo prices and freight rates
- Preparing monthly voyage calculations – P&L per voyage and inventories linked to floating storages
Profile
- Commercial education with a Degree from Top-ranked schools / Institutions
- Min. 2 / 3 years of experience in Cargo Liquid Operations
- Predisposition to generate Business / ideas / process
- Highly developed commercial acumen / instinct
- Motivation for career evolution
- Fluent in English – other languages an advantage
- Able to work under pressure
- Open-minded – Proactive team player
- Good communication skills
