We are looking for a Head of Documentary Credit – Commercial Banking Exp. to be based in Benelux
Tasks
- Preparation and implementation of the business plan for the Documentary Credit Dept.
- Ensure the Management of the Dept.
- Checking and issuance of Guarantees – Documentary Credits and Collections
- Evaluate the feasibility of financing operations
- Monitor the execution of guarantees from A to Z
- Manage guarantee transactions
- Checking credit limits for guarantee operations
- Follow-up the execution of obligations – payment and expenses on guarantee operations
- Provide information about Banks’ guarantees (changes – claims of payment – signature identification – etc.)
- Leading the implementation of system improvements
- Frequent reporting to the Management based on statistics
Profile
- Min. 5 years of experience as Head of Documentary Credits within a Commercial Bank
- University Degree in Finance / Economic / Equivalent
- Excellent knowledge and practice of inherent international standards and legal regulations
- Fluent in English – other languages a+
- Good IT skills
- Detail-oriented
